Shaped like a capital 'H' the M56 system better distributes weight across your shoulders than its previous counterparts. The hooks on the ends of the straps hook into a regular M56 belt & pouches with eyelets and can be fully adjusted on your front and back. The shoulder areas have a light amount of padding for added comfort and a loop on each for attaching the likes of first aid pouches or other equipment.
